How long have you been in business?
We have been in business for nearly 8 years. Gary is a Former Top Auditor withthe Calfornia Franchise Tax Board. He is familiar with all aspects of how major Tax Authorities work and do business. He can help get your audit resolved in a positive manner. Collections are also something that can be overcome.
What is your primary product or service?
Tax Consultation for all types of entities. Tax problems caan be resolved and all back taxes will be prepared. Sometimes as little of a thing as preparing your back taxes can decrease your taxes so much as to make the amount owed minimal and sometimes even result in a refund.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was an auditor fo 30 years and as such I understood how the taxing authorities work. Many times adjustments are made with little or no thought. Sometimes they are reviewed thorougly and ther is no chance to overcome the decision. I know when an appeal can be pursued and when it should be dropped, saving clients many dollars in fees. Matters will not be pursued unless a reasonable probability of sucess is likely.
I should be noted that Offers in compromise are fairly rarely upheld. Having them pursued is costly and in most instances they end in failure.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are fair and limit our time to only matters where there is a reasonable probability of success. We aren't in it for soley attempting to get as much money from our clients. We are looking to resolve issues in a cost efficient manner with as little stress as possible. However, it must be realized that the nature of dealing with taxing authorities is difficult and will have some element of stress no matter what.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I don't intend to expand at this time. I want to keep the business as a friendly, intimate company providing personilized servicee
