TI offers tram power cars and trailers built from the ground up to meet the unique requirements of a tram. TI’s custom built power car chassis (not a modified truck chassis) provides safe, low floor, one step passenger boarding, plus a comfortable “automotive type” ride. TI trams come in widths from 57 to 102 inches and with a turning radius as little as just 17 feet. TI’s trams can handle the most demanding courses with their 4 wheel, self- tracking steering system.
However, TI is more than just a tram manufacturer. TI understands the importance of comprehensive post-delivery support of the customer. TI takes pride offering comprehensive and effective operator’s manuals and post-delivery training.
TI has learned the tram business from the point of view of an operator. It’s parent company, Bus Services Corporation (BSC), has been a contract operator of propane and electric powered trams and trolleys. With over a decade of operating experience, BSC has used its valued experience to good use and applied it to the design of its extensive tram product line.
