HHI is a holistic school teaching the connection of the mind, body and spirit to facilitate healing. We believe that just learning the technique of massage is not enough to facilitate healing.
Throughout the MT300 hour Swedish Program you will be taught how to connect to and help facilitate healing in your client through:
Proper touch
Grounding
Centering
Being totally present
Setting the right intention
Once you complete the MT300 hour Program you can choose which electives you wish to take for the additional 200 hours needed for 500 hour State Certification.
You will be learning from teachers who practice what they teach and love sharing their knowledge.
We have created a loving, safe environment for you to learn and grow?spiritually, emotionally and physically. You will learn much about yourself, your bodies and your emotions. Our students tell us that their experience at HHI is life changing. I often have heard our therapists say they feel as good as their clients after giving a massage.

Our continuing education offers over 2,500 hours of advanced electives so you can add to your certified hours, continue your education and understand more fully the mind, body, spirit connection to facilitate healing. What is your primary product or service?
Massage Therapy School with a MT500 hour Massage Therapy Program which includes our MT300 hour Swedish Massage Program. You can add the addition 200 hours to reach the 500 hour requirement for State Certification from and continuing education classes in Aromatherapy, Energy Healing, Focus on Fascia (Myofascial, Business, Chair Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Reflexology, Polatiry Therapy, Lymphatic Massage.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My Dad was a "holistic" Western Medicine doctor and by listening to him talk about his patients he taught me how much our emotions and stress affect our bodies.
I have always been interested in alternative medicine. I love using herbs and essential oils to help heal myself. After my husband passed away I started working with a massage therapist and realized just how much benefit we gain from massage and bodywork physically, emotionally and spiritually. That's when I started Hands on Healing Institute.
I am a native New Yorker and moved to Southern California in the early 70's. My first career path was working in the cosmetic industry both in New York and California as a Packaging Development Manager.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Hands on Healing Institute is a holistic massage therapy school that teaches based on the mind, body and spirit connection to facilitate healing.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location and occupy two towers of the building. Our office in outside main building entrance; one classroom is in the office tower and another classroom is in the upstairs tower. The energy in the towers is wonderful.
