We launched in the fall of 2008.
What is your primary product or service?
Community resourcing, as well as small local business advertising. We also do low cost logo and ad banner design.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I am an internet geek. In fact, this is the business I was born to run! I love it! I do all my own publishing, design, ad design and SEO.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are all about small, local, and safe. The internet is a big place. We have our own servers, and we strive to provide a forum for local people to communicate with each other, as well as provide an affordable option for small local businesses to have a positive web presence.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I own LAGrapevine.com, SantaBarbaraGrapevine.com, and VenturaGrapevine.com. I like living in my area of business, so I do not anticipate any other Grapevines. Although The GrapeVine Communities are 250 strong sites across the US. This provides outstanding quality and SEO as a group. We are launching new cities all the time.
