How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My mother took me to the store when I was 10 years old and I fell in love with Herbs. I became real good friends with the family who owned the business. Later on I would have stints consulting to the organization. I became majority owner of Herbs of Mexico in 2006.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We carry over 450 bulk herbs. We have over 40 proprietary blends of herbal formulas that have been used by our customer for over 40 years. We offer only the finest quality bulk herbs, essential oils, liquid herbal extracts and food supplements to the Latino community
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have one location and intend to expand to 15 locations within the next five years
