A nonprofit early child development and therapy center for children with special needs.
Pediatric Therapy Network (PTN), a non-profit early child development and therapy center, was founded in 1996 by a group of parents, therapists, and teachers committed to providing quality services for children with special needs and for those at risk for developmental issues. PTN provides prevention, early identification, intervention, and therapy to 2,500 children a year and provides support and training to over 5,000 families and professionals locally and internationally.
PTN is a resource to families through our Early Intervention, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Social Skills, Camp Escapades and Early Head Start programs. These child development and therapy programs are available at PTN’s child friendly center in Torrance, as well as at homes, schools, and other community sites.
PTN also reaches innumerable children and families through internationally renowned educational products, programs, contributions to research and evidence-based practice including a collaboration with the University of Southern California’s Division of Oc-cupational Science and Occupational Therapy to offer graduate level training in sensory integration (OT610/SI610), held at PTN with internationally recognized instructors and clinical mentors.
PTN has a staff of over 140 employees including therapists, early childhood and early intervention teachers, and mental health professionals who are dedicated to meeting the growing needs of children across Southern California.
