How long have you been in business?
We are celebrating our 25th year in business.
What is your primary product or service?
The roots of Kusar is in court reporting, although that has lead us to offering our other litigation support services. Our other successful areas include conference rooms, video conferencing, reprographics and just about anything else related to professional service businesses, with law firms at the forefront.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As owner, I am a certified court reporter, although I have not practiced in years. From the time I started this business, I have mentored up-and-coming court reporters as that is my original area of expertise.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
For one, we are the perfect midpoint meeting place between Los Angeles and Orange County. The second point is that we are able to cater to large, nationwide companies while still offering personal and professional service.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our headquarters are in Downtown Long Beach, and opened an additional 6 office in California in April of 2009. Also, I am a founding member of a network of reporters across the country, all of which offer conference rooms. We can provide worldwide conference rooms and video conferencing.

Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
I, Jeri Kusar, am the founder and owner and run the daily operations along with my General Manager, Joan Austin.
What are your hours of operation?
Our doors are open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and anytime by appointment.
