We are a full service residential landscape design and construction firm, specializing in resort-style pools and spas, outdoor kitchens, ponds, water features, fire features, landscaping, and more. We are a licensed landscape, pool, and general contractor.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Scott Cohen is the creative force behind The Green Scene. Scott’s passion for design began as a boyhood fascination with sculpture, drawing, architecture and gardening. More than two decades later, The Green Scene has grown from a lawn maintenance firm to a full service design and construction firm specializing in total back and front yard remodels, allowing our customers to vacation in their own back yard.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Unlike many design and build firms, we hold swimming pool, landscape and general contractor licenses. Scott’s unique approach to creating outdoor resort-style landscape designs reflects the personalities of the homeowners as well as the attributes of the home and yard. A four-page “Getting-To-Know-You” questionnaire allows Scott to incorporate the hobbies and interests of the homeowners into his designs to give each a truly personalized project. We handle every aspect of the job, from design, to permit acquisition, to construction.
