How long have you been in business?
Skateland was established in 1958! We are the longest operating roller skating center in the City of Los Angeles.
What is your primary product or service?
Skateland is a recreational entertainment company focusing on the relationships built when people are enjoying a common activity - roller skating - in a clean, safe, fun, family-oriented venue. We host amazing birthday parties, fundraising events for non-profit organizations, and corporate team-building events. We also film production work - you've probably seen Skateland in a movie, television show, music video, or commercial.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Skateland is a family-owned and operated business. One family has 2nd and 3rd generations and several others have siblings and family members working at Skateland.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Skateland's staff pay attention to our guests and treat them like friends. To us, we are nothing without them and we are grateful when they choose to visit us. We are also sticklers for cleanliness, efficiency, helpfulness, and service to others.

Skateland is conveniently located in the heart of the San Fernando Valley. We are two blocks South of Cal State University Northridge. We are directly across the street from Los Angeles City Fire Station 103. We are easily accessible from three major freeways: 405 (exit Roscoe Blvd. if traveling North; exit Nordhoff St. if traveling South), 118 (exit Reseda Blvd. if traveling East or West), and 101 (exit Reseda Blvd.).

Skateland is fortunate to entertain guests from a large geographic area. We pull from all over Los Angeles (the City, San Fernando Valley), Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, Ventura County, Conejo Valley, Simi Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Palos Verdes, Santa Monica, and Hollywood just to name a few.
